About Cedarbrook Waterworks
A pool equipment repair and servicing operation working out of Halifax, NS B3S 1A1.
Who we are
Cedarbrook Waterworks started as a small equipment-repair crew in the Halifax area and has focused on one thing since: pump, filter and heater servicing for residential pools. We don't build pools, lay liners or sell chemicals — the equipment pad is our whole job, and that focus is deliberate.
The business operates as Cedarbrook Waterworks Ltd., registered to carry out mechanical repair and servicing work for pool owners across Nova Scotia's Halifax region.
We keep the crew small on purpose, so the technician who diagnoses a fault is usually the one who returns for the repair and the follow-up check. That continuity matters more on equipment work than it might elsewhere — a pump that's behaved oddly all summer is easier to read for someone who already has the earlier readings on file.
What we do
Our work covers three service calls, from a single diagnostic visit through to a combined pump, filter and heater repair. Each one is detailed on the services page, with the included scope and starting price.
- Diagnostic Service Call →
Tracing a reported fault with a written estimate before parts are ordered.
- Pump & Filter Equipment Service →
Inspection, cleaning and seal or cartridge replacement with a test run.
- Premium Full-System Repair →
Pump, filter and heater repair in one visit, with a follow-up check.
Where we are
Cedarbrook Waterworks is based at 72 Chain Lake Drive, Halifax, NS B3S 1A1, and serves pool owners across Halifax and the surrounding communities. If you're outside that immediate area, reach out with your location and we'll confirm whether a visit is practical before booking.
Nova Scotia's short swimming season means our busiest weeks cluster around spring opening and fall closing, so booking a little ahead of those windows — rather than during them — generally gets you a faster appointment.

How we work
Measured, not guessed
Every assessment is based on recorded pressure, flow and electrical readings.
Written before worked
Findings and an estimate come before any part is ordered or installed.
Reachable during the visit
Questions during a repair are answered by phone, not left for a callback later.
A note on scope
We get occasional calls about pool construction, landscaping or chemical balancing — work outside what we do. When that happens, we'll say so plainly and, where we can, point you toward the kind of contractor that handles it, rather than stretch our own scope to take on work we're not set up for.
