Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often before a first visit, grouped by topic.

About the service

What exactly is included in a service call?

Each of our three service calls has a fixed scope listed on the services page. The Diagnostic Service Call is inspection and a written estimate only; the Pump & Filter Equipment Service and the Premium Full-System Repair Package include the parts and labour needed for the work agreed after assessment.

What's your service area?

We're based in Halifax, NS B3S 1A1 and serve the surrounding communities. If you're further out, let us know your location when you reach out and we'll confirm whether a visit is practical.

Do you work on every pump, filter and heater brand?

We service the brands most common in Nova Scotia residential pools. If your equipment is unfamiliar to us, the technician will flag that during the diagnostic step rather than attempt an unfamiliar repair blind.

Can you check equipment before I buy a house with a pool?

Yes — a Diagnostic Service Call works well as a pre-purchase check, giving a written summary of the equipment's condition that you can use in your decision.

Process & scheduling

How do I start?

Send a message through the contact form on the home page, or call +1 902-453-6829 with a description of what the equipment is doing. We'll follow up to confirm a visit.

What happens after I send the first message?

A member of our scheduling team replies, usually within one business day, to confirm the symptom and book a visit. You'll get an appointment window before the technician arrives.

How long does it take to get an appointment?

Typically a few business days. Lead times stretch during the opening and closing rush at the start and end of the swimming season, so booking a little ahead of those windows helps.

What does the diagnostic visit actually involve?

The technician tests pressure, flow and electrical draw on the pump and filter loop, and checks heater ignition where applicable, then writes up the findings with a repair estimate before anything is ordered.

Pricing & payment

Are the prices on the services page final?

They're a starting range. The confirmed price depends on what the on-site assessment finds — see services.html for details, and you'll always see the final figure before work begins.

What if I want to cancel after booking?

Our full cancellation terms are set out in the Cancellation Policy section of the Terms of Use.

What's your refund policy if I'm not satisfied with a repair?

See the Payment & Refund Policy section of the Terms of Use for the full policy and how to request a review.

Practical

What are your working hours?

We're reachable Monday – Friday, 09:00–17:00, Eastern Time. Messages sent outside those hours are answered the next business day, and technicians are not dispatched on weekends or statutory holidays.

How do I reach the team directly?

Call +1 902-453-6829 or email [email protected] during working hours.

Where is the business based?

72 Chain Lake Drive, Halifax, NS B3S 1A1 — see our location on the map on the home page.

One more thing

Can I ask questions before deciding to book?

Of course — a short call or message to talk through what the equipment is doing before committing to a visit is normal, and our scheduling coordinator is happy to help you figure out which service call fits.

Still have questions?

We're happy to talk it through.
