Service & Installation Terms

These terms apply specifically to on-site diagnostic, repair and equipment-servicing visits carried out by Cedarbrook Waterworks Ltd., in addition to the general Terms of Use.
1. Site access
You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to the pool equipment pad for the scheduled appointment window, including removing any locks, pets or obstructions that would prevent the technician from working.
2. Parts sourcing
Where a repair requires a part not carried in standard stock, we will source it from the manufacturer or an authorised distributor and communicate any resulting change to timeline or price before proceeding.
3. Scope confirmation
Work beyond the scope described in your written estimate is not carried out without your separate approval, except where a safety issue is found during the visit — in which case we will contact you right away before proceeding further.
4. Equipment condition
Because equipment condition varies, our technicians assess and report on what they find during the visit; a diagnostic finding may reveal issues not visible or reported prior to the appointment.
5. Warranty on repair work
Labour on repair work carried out by Cedarbrook Waterworks is covered for 90 days from the service date against the same fault recurring under normal use; parts carry the applicable manufacturer warranty, details of which are provided at the time of installation.
6. Follow-up visits
The Premium Full-System Repair Package includes one follow-up check scheduled a few weeks after the repair, at no additional charge, to confirm the work is holding under normal use.
